Lucy is our first Discover daughter to freshen. And we weren't disappointed. Though young and immature, which our lines seem to be till they are 4, Lucy has turned out to be a beautiful doe. Being an Emma daughter she is long, tall and gangily, but she freshened with a beautifully attached mammary that is high, wide and soundly attached. She has better extension to the fore than her dam and a better medial dividing the 2 halves. She also has better teat size and dileniation. This year she sustained an injury to her udder, so we were forced to dry her off early. We are hoping that the injury is healed and we can get her back out in the show arena next year.
