This was a long awaited freshening as we have always valued the genetics that Beau has brought to this herd. And Fleurie didn't disappoint us in the least. Though immature, which our Emma lines tend to be, Fleurie freshened with a beautifully attached mammary that is higher in the rear, and smoother blended in the fore than her dam. Though not as long as Maggie, she is already showing us more depth in the heart girth, that is being carried back into the flank. Maggie always being a toothpick until last year, this is a huge improvement. Now to get her out in the ring to see how she can compete against the stiff competition of the Pacific Northwest.
