Here is another Emma daughter that has held it all together over time. There just aren't enough words to describe how much we cherish this doe. Shadow is 9 this year and still does not show her age. She, like her dam and her sister Maggie, is a stylish, elegant doe with wonderful breed and dairy character. She has a beautifully attached mammary that is high and wide in the rear and smoothly blended into the fore. Add to that, ideal teat placement. She is long and level and is uphill when on the move.

2009 saw Shadow's last show season and what a way to end this long, wonderful career. To be 5th place Aged Doe at the 2009 National Show and to end her career with being named Best of Breed at the Central WA State Fair, beating out 48 Nubian senior does. This incredible doe has given her heart to showing and especially this show year. Shadow will now be retired and live her life out her on the farm as a brood doe. We can't thank her enough for all she has contributed to our herd.
