Hailey was a deep bodied, powerfully built doe who exceled in dairy character. She was long and level over the topline and rump and smoothly blended throughout. She possessed a beautifully attached mammary that was like butter to milk, high and wide in the rear with great extension to the fore. Hailey was a pleasure to show. She loved the arena and set herself up. She loved to be " On". At 10 years of age, Hailey still maintained that levelness over her topline and rump and her incredible mammary was still snugly held up in place. She was showing a little of her age, but that is to be expected. She was one of the most important members of this herd and we were thankful everyday for this wonderful, loving animal that came into our lives. She was the Queen of our barn and hearts, and we showed her our gratitude everyday for all she has contributed to our herd. Hailey produced 3 daughters that have achieved their SGCH status: SGCH My-Enchanted-Acres Beaus Flame 5*M SGCH My-Enchanted-Acres #1 Splash 5*M SGCH My-Enchanted-Acres Cassiopeia 5*M And 2 daughters that have achieved SG status: SG My-Enchanted-Acres BlazeO'Glory 5*M ( 2007 USDA Elite Doe ) SG My-Enchanted-Acres B'Blushin 5*M Hailey's daughters in the herd include Beaus Flame, who appraised an 89 VVVE and was 7th pl 3 year old at the 2002 National show along with being part of the 1st place Dam & daughter, 2nd place Dairy Herd, 3rd place Best 3 Females and 1st place Senior Get of Sire. Cassiopeia who appraised 90 EEEV and was 24th place 2 year old at the 2002 National show and 14th place 5-6 year old at the 2005 national show. Glory who appraised an 89 VEEV, Ace's Angel and Trail O'Hope. She is also the dam to our beautiful Discover, who is putting his stamp on his kids. | It is with deep saddness that we announce the passing of this wonderful doe. Hailey was the essential core of this herd and her passing has left a deep whole. She was, by far, the sweetest of does. She was the herd queen up until her liver failed from Rhoddy poisoning. She has passed over the Rainbow Bridge, where she will never again feel pain and will enjoy the sunshine forever Thank you Hailey. You will never be forgotten. April 21, 1997 - March 9, 2007 |
